2270 Dundas West – VIP OpeningÂ
I attended the VIP launch for the building. The anticipation was huge, parking lot full, a couple hundred of agents and buyers piled in. The project is very very good: the location is romantic, safe, High Park nearby and of course – walking distance to the UP, GO and TTC. If you are a travelling executive, a family, or an investor, these are very compelling features.
The model suite was done very well, see my phone photos below. The finishes are good and the style is fun and useable. Dundas West at The Junction is a lively place to be, many little shops, and cute parkettes. It really feels like a neighbourhood, something you can’t get downtown anymore (and never again).
Floorplans are good and the use of space is effective. The amenities that cater to real life are smart, too. Who wouldn’t like to have a co-working space at home, an accessible rooftop patio and a gym/yoga studio? I’d vote for that, and your future tenants will pay top dollar for the location, design, quality and amenities.
If you are looking to invest (for yourself or investing) here, call or email me and I’ll send you the latest plans and prices. As always, first come first served and this building will sell out, bc there is nothing else at this price point that gives so much. I know it, and investors clearly recognize this.
Picking up the best unitsÂ
In my videos I repeatedly speak about the importance of picking the right unit from floorplans. It is the most important task of the investor, and often neglected, resulting in poor ROI. When I pick a condo from floroplans, I pay special attention to the unit’s design and location within the building. I look for useability, livability and longevity of the property (you can see my video about this here). Lastly, I pick a unit that in my opinion, will serve both the investors and the residents well and to everyone’s satisfaction.
Yossi’s Take:
“Everyone is looking to buy
Condos in The Junction”
The Junction is Toronto’s hottest area, and will remain that way for many years. I’ve been talking about Toronto moving West as the core is becoming dense and expensive. I was right and Toronto’s West End ie The Junction, Roncy, Queen West (all the way West) is on fire. These are super residential areas yet quite under developed. Any new condo building coming to these areas will do well. This is why us investors are always on the lookout for new areas that are re-developing, so we can find the best condo investments available. Imagine King West eight years ago…. get it?
To see what I mean, take a look at nearby area projects such as Scout Condos and The Stockyards. Now with the addition of The Junction House we have three high quality developments coming nearby, with more on the way. What will happen to values? They will rise. I am sure of it. Why? bc each new condo development coming to a renewing area usually comes at a higher price tag. That is why it’s so important to recognize the trend and always be ahead of the curve, ie buy where it’s just about to explode, and The Junction is possibly the best area in the city to invest in right now, for these reasons.
