155 Cumberland Street, also known as 130 Bloor Street West, or the CIL Building is a 20-storey,14-suite reconstruction located in Bloor-Yorkville, north of Bloor, between Avenue Road and Bellair Street.
The original CIL Building construction at 130 Bloor Street West was financed in 1960 by the Bronfman family. The south face of the building houses Gucci, Cartier and a Lululemon outlet. The north face is home to Hugo Boss and Nicolas Men’s and Women’s Wear. Upstairs, there are offices for a range of blue chip renters, including the College of Chiropractors, the French and Russian consulates, and the Bronfman-controlled Comweb Group Inc. (a motion picture support company). Each floor will be a single condo ranging from 5,000 to 6,000 square feet with 11′-high ceilings and large protected terraces overlooking Bloor and Cumberland Sts.
155 Cumberland Street is close to TTC, Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto Reference Library, University of Toronto, Four Seasons Hotel, PATH, Hazelton Lanes, Village of Yorkville Park, Manulife Centre, Cumberland Theatre and The Yorkville Club.
